BotanicArte

The BotanicArte vase is the perfect companion to floral displays. Real plant forms, plucked from the fields, are  pressed into flat wet clay, hand-rolled into an organic shaped vessel and  picked out with oxides and colour, then fired in the kiln to transform the transient living structures into permanent records of their forms. Nature is rarely  symmetrical, and this vase is different from every angle; it can be turned a little every day for a new perspective and perfectly complements cut flower displays but, when the flowers on the inside have given of their best, the beauty of the plants on the outside remains.

The BotanicArte vase is made using living plants in season, so each one reflects the time of year when it is made and is entirely individual.
